Righteous Among the Nations?
The title of "Righteous Among the Nations" is the highest civilian honor bestowed by the Jewish state, to non-Jews who risked their lives, helping Jews persecuted by the Nazi occupiers. Distinguished people must have bring, by the conscious risk of their lives, of their families, and without consideration of demand, real assistance to one or more Jewish people in danger. Gaston Noguier and Marcel Roux have been recognized as Righteous Among the Nations December 19, 2011 and can be found in their names at Yad Vashem
